OUR STORY
Our family comes from the coast of Mexico. Where our grandparents and great grandparents enjoyed seafood and tropical delights under the hot sun. In America our children and grandchildren enjoy the fusions of culture and tradition in the kitchen. And thats where our authentic recipes were paired with vegan and vegetarian comfort food. From our kitchen to your family.
Our Mission.
We took our traditional family meals and carefully picked meat and cheese substitutes to create a diverse menu with the same flavors. You will be able to order our popular items like our Fried Ice Cream and California Burrito with or without a vegan option. Your orders will always be prepared in seperate areas for meat-free and dairy-free options. We are also knowledged in the sensetivities of allergies, including Gluten sensitivies. Our staff is always open to conversation about how to serve you and your dietary requests. Our promise to you: with every order you are reminded of Mexico. Tina has been the sole owner of Tacos Cancun for well over 25 years. With the restaurant starting in a strip mall in the Inland Empire to a local favorite in Orange County. She is a proud mother of 3 girls who help elevate her business to fuse their American upbringing and mothers Mexican culture. Tina lives in Orange County and is a real estate agent.
Nohely Vi Quiroz
Vegan Menu Curator
Nohely grew up in the Tacos Cancun kitchen as a child. In 2007 proposed a business model for a new location and vegan friendly menu. As a plantbased eater herself, she wanted to see a table where the options were endless for non-meat eaters. This led to creating a fixable menu for the whole family. Nohely is an actress and lives in Los Angeles.
